The essentials
  • Define the actual service area and type of commission.
  • Separate high-intent searches from broad inspiration.
  • Judge enquiry quality alongside clicks and cost.
01

Define a worthwhile enquiry

Start with the projects you can deliver: service area, minimum practical scope, capacity and the next step in your sales process. A studio taking selected London commissions should not buy broad nationwide visibility by default.

Decide what a useful lead contains. A click on an email link is a signal, but a conversation with location, timescale and project type tells you much more about the campaign.

02

Group searches by intent

A query for a bespoke kitchen maker in a particular part of London suggests a different need from a search for small-kitchen ideas. Both can matter, but they need different messages and destinations.

Review the actual search terms that triggered adverts and exclude clearly irrelevant demand. This ongoing work is as important as writing the initial ad copy.

  • Supplier searches: lead to relevant work and a consultation path.
  • Solution searches: explain capability and process.
  • General inspiration: may be better served by editorial content.
03

Make the landing page continue the promise

If an advert mentions fitted kitchens in London, its destination should not be a generic home page without relevant projects, service-area information or a clear enquiry route. The page should confirm the offer quickly and show credible work.

Original project imagery, an honest process description and a short enquiry form make it easier for someone on a phone to decide whether to get in touch.

04

Connect the platform to real conversations

Track form submissions and contact actions, then record what happens in the sales process: location, fit, progression and outcomes. That lets you learn whether the campaign attracts the right kind of work.

Fewer but better enquiries can be more valuable than an impressive click count. Optimisation should be tied to commercial fit, not traffic volume alone.
