The essentials
  • Search suits clearly expressed demand and relevant pages.
  • Social campaigns rely heavily on strong, varied creative.
  • Evaluate qualified enquiries rather than impressions alone.
01

When someone is already looking

Search adverts can appear when a person types a specific need. This makes them useful when there is relevant demand, an offer with a clear service area and a destination that answers the query.

For a high-value interior commission, a page needs more than a beautiful image. It should explain the kind of work, show real projects and make the consultation step obvious.

02

When the work needs to be discovered

On Instagram and Facebook, a film or project photograph may reveal a material, mechanism or atmosphere someone was not actively searching for. That visual discovery can help an interior brand become familiar before an enquiry.

The advert still needs context: who is the work for, what is distinct and where can it be commissioned? A striking frame without those answers can attract attention without suitable leads.

03

Test one question at a time

A limited budget and small sales team do not have to launch everywhere simultaneously. Choose a focused offer, prepare the landing route and make sure enquiries are recorded before distributing more widely.

Compare the fit and progression of conversations, not only the dashboard. Search and social can later reinforce each other: one builds familiarity, the other can meet expressed demand.

04

A useful starting rule

If there is clear local search demand and the website demonstrates the offer, assess Search first. If your strongest asset is a library of finished spaces and you need discovery, a visual social test may make sense. If neither the content nor the page is ready, improve those foundations first.

Revisit the decision with evidence from the business. The best channel is the one that produces work the team wants and can deliver.
